If you get a chance check this out. This little place in Alabama is responsible for such greats as Aretha Franklin’s “Respect” and “Think,” Willson Pickett’s “Hey Jude” & “Mustang Sally,” the Rolling Stones’ “Brown Sugar,” Paul Simon’s “Kodachrome,” Etta James’ “Tell Mama,” Jimmy Cliff’s “Sitting in Limbo” and Percy Sledge cut “When a Man Loves a Woman.” These are just some of the many notable artists that recorded there also including Bob Seger, Cher,

We tried only smoking on the sundeck and it just ain’t working. Guests are complaining that it is starting to stink up there and they can’t go up there to sun bath. Yep, the poor smoker takes the pipe again, so to speak. I am so

The City By The Sea

Can you believe I was there this summer and missed both these spectacles? I did see and take pictures of the six sisters (houses on Alamo Park) while walking the dog. That city is just as enough off-center and twisted for me to really enjoy it. Besides you can a turkey

Berry Interesting
Berry Interesting Is this cool or what? Vinegar does it again. Immediately dump your fresh berries in a solution of water and 10% white or apple vinegar. Leave in for a couple minutes then rinse off with clean water or leave on if you don’t smell the vinegar – to your taste. Put the berries in the refrigerator immediately after letting them drain well. Put a double paper towel under the berries and don’t enclose.

Eden House Webcam As you might have noticed the Eden House has new cams for the pool and spa. They are HD and MOST of my guests and I love them. Now for the bad news. They are not adjustable for wider angle viewing and they take a poop load more bandwidth. So you say, I should have known. I wish I had, I probably would have stayed with the old cams. After a couple
