I want to start by saying, “I’m sorry.” I’ve got good news and I’ve got bad news. The Eden House is going COMPLETELY NON-SMOKING as of January 1, 2014. We tried only smoking on the sundeck and it just ain’t working.  Guests are complaining that it is starting to stink up there and they can’t go up there to sun bath.  Yep, the poor smoker takes the pipe again, so to speak.  I am so

The Frinzi returns to Eden House May 1st thru the 5th. John will be down for the Song Writer’s Conference and will be playing during happy hour at Eden House. Ever read Hunter S. Thompson’s ‘Campaign Trail ’72’? Hunter describes Hubert Humphrey on TV looking like three hunger crazed iguana at a feeding frenzy. Sorry ’bout that. It’s how the 70’s left some of us. The City By The Sea

edenadmin Comments are off
San Fransisco Bay Bridge ‘The House of Falling Furniture’  and the ‘Alamo Park Shoe Garden’ are a must see when traveling to San Francisco. Can you believe I was there this summer and missed both these spectacles? I did see and take pictures of the six sisters (houses on Alamo Park) while walking the dog. That city is just as enough off-center and twisted for me to really enjoy it. Besides you can a turkey

Berry Interesting

edenadmin Comments are off
Berry Interesting Is this cool or what? Vinegar does it again. Immediately dump your fresh berries in a solution of water and 10% white or apple vinegar. Leave in for a couple minutes then rinse off with clean water or leave on if you don’t smell the vinegar – to your taste. Put the berries in the refrigerator immediately after letting them drain well. Put a double paper towel under the berries and don’t enclose.

Ten years have blown by and now it is a book and not just about our political

Webcam Fiasco

Eden House Webcam As you might have noticed the Eden House has new cams for the pool and spa. They are HD and MOST of my guests and I love them. Now for the bad news. They are not adjustable for wider angle viewing and they take a poop load more bandwidth. So you say, I should have known. I wish I had, I probably would have stayed with the old cams. After a couple
