California Dreamin’
Eden House at Carriage Vineyards is open for business. Yes, Colleen and I have partnered with Elizabeth and we have purchased a vineyard in the Central Coast of California. It is a hundred acres consisting of 30 acres of grapes, 850 olive trees and a three-unit guest house. Elizabeth and family live on the property and they just completed their first harvest. We have lots of plans for the property, the first is planting an additional 30 acres of dry grapes (not irrigated). Eden House at Carriage Vineyard is located in Templeton in the Paso Robles Wine Region.
We have some not so silent, silent partners who helped make this possible. They are family and guest/friends of the Eden House of Key West. We are open for business and be sure to ask for the ‘regulaaaars’ discount.
They come, and they go;
Ryan has ended his 9-year career at Eden House and has left the building. He will be traveling the United States for a few years and after 9 years at Eden House… we know he will be a great tourist wherever he ends up. As Ryan trucks around the country he will be keeping a log so to speak. He will have a web page dedicated to his travels and keep you posted on things you should see and do when you are in the area. He will keep you posted on where he is heading to next and would appreciate any suggestions you might have if you are familiar with the area.
Always trying to make it better
In Asheville, Princess Anne is now open to the public for dinners Friday and Saturday evenings starting at 5 and for brunch every Sunday from 11-3. We are also doing specialty dinners on the 1st and 3rdWednesday of every month. We team up with a local business each time to bring you a night of great food and drink. If you are local or taking a trip, it would be worth it to try to make one of these dinners. We hosted a Mid Summers Wine dinner with Metro Wines in July to introduce our in-house Chef Todd. To say it was a hit would be an understatement. Call to make your reservations.
Our first caroling trolley ride is December 6th complimentary for guests so please let us know if you can make it.

Getting to know us
We are so pleased that Paul & Kemar have joined the staff at the Eden House Key West in our maintenance department. Another newbie is Will, he is a dynamo at the front desk.
Some dates to take note of at the Key West hotel:
Tree trimming at the Eden House is set for December 7th.
Our annual trolley ride is set for December 14th. Please let us know if you will be joining us for either of the occasions.
Our Picks
Now for our recent charity pick. DonarsChoice.org, we first heard about this charity on the Steven Colbert show. They have teachers submit what is needed for their classrooms and then you can pick and donate to them. Teachers have needs ranging from pencils and paper to Ipads for the classroom.
Last but not least
If you have called any of the properties lately you may have spoken to Jocelyn. You probably wont see her on the property but Amazon has Alexa, Apple has Siri and we have Jocelyn. Elizabeth would be lost without her for sure, she is the glue that holds the 3 properties together.
