Key West Hotel

Our History

Eden House Key West was originally built in 1924 as the Gibson Hotel. It consisted of one main building, and the surrounding buildings were added over the next five years. A Hollywood film entitled “Criss Cross” starring Goldie Hawn was filmed at the Eden House Key West over the summer in July 1990.

Eden House is a certified Key West Green Hotel, marking our commitment to sustainability. Every step counts in our journey toward environmental responsibility, from installing soap dispensers in showers to using eco-friendly cups made from corn. Take a look around and see how you, too, can make a difference.
